Some items that's been on my to do list:
(As of March 24)
(As of March 31)
Finances:
1- Change Electric Suppliers- Done!
(Called the new company and got their application in the mail. Right now I just need to read it over, fill it out and mail it back) (The application is in the mail as we speak! Now I just have to wait for them to transfer my info.)
2- Call Insurance Agent about getting a quote on my car- Done!
(not yet. But I have until June when my current policy expires.) (Called my current homeowner insurance provider for a quote. Waiting until May before I'll switch)
3- Decide and cancel either gym or weight-watchers- Done... almost
(Decided to cancel the gym when my contract expires in April which I know will be a battle. Weight-watchers- Canceled! Which is a shame because I like the service but I don't use it enough to pay the monthly fee.)
4- Find a prepaid phone plan that meets my needs before my contract ends in June
(ha! gl with that!) (I have realized that I may lose my employee discount if I do this so I may be better off sticking with what I have.)
5- Either do a home energy audit to find ways to save energy or hire someone.
(Will do this as part of my spring cleaning)
6- Make a list of what I buy most at the supermarket and find ways to spend less on them
(The list is done, now I just need to do some comparative shopping)
6a- Find new foods that are inexpensive, healthy and will NOT be left in my fridge for months to spoil (Bought frozen kale. I don't know what kale is but I have it.)
7- Go through closet and do a tag sale
(tricky to do considering I don't have enough items for one. Maybe find space at one?) (again, spring cleaning)
8- Look into other ways to generate income (Possible opportunity has come up. Have to wait and see what happens)
Other:
9- Plan 2010 vacation (Yes, thanks Josh for pointing that out. At the time I wrote this, my head was on 2009 tax schedules. I guess I was stuck on '09)
10- Sign up to do a 5K by my birthday (I have a plan to run the one on July 10th- one month before my birthday)
