5,943 so far. Not as fast as I would like but I'm getting there.
Over all I'm pleased. The first few days was a struggle at getting the plot moving along.
Right now, well...it's still a struggle trying to get a moving plot, but at least now it's developing into an actual novel. The characters are introduced, the setting is set and I have a vague direction in which to go.
Except my characters have pretty much taken the story and left me in the dust.
I'm told that happens to writers.
Please, characters. Come back!
