BTW, for the people that don't know, my MSA (Masters of Science in Accounting) program at the University of Connecticut is all on-line. All these interactions consist of AIMs, discussion boards, and chat rooms. All our learning material for this tax class are on an on-line "course portal." Some people that I've talked to about the program can't really imagine what it would be like to take all on-line courses but, after two years of doing this, I've gotten use to it. Now I have a hard time sitting in an actual classroom. Go figure.
This wasn't really my best week. On Sunday, I failed my midterm in my tax class which affected my mood for the rest of the week. I'll still be able to pull a "B" for the class but not without being really serious about my schoolwork for the rest of the semester. Also, someone from my group left the class and so we're short one person help with the homework.
But I sill managed to make Prof. Dunbar laugh. Here's what she added to her weekly summary:
WEB> it's fall & windy out...
MYA> it is! very cold too
WEB> yep
MYA> I want to burn furniture
WEB> why?
MYA> to stay warm
MYA> or aspiring arsonist
WEB> lucky you can't burn the tax class material
MYA> you choose
MYA> the laptop I suppose
WEB> the material will still be on the portal :)
*******
WEB> btw, have you taken a look at the project?
MYA> is it up?
WEB> yep
MYA> then no
WEB> looks pretty scary
MYA> must be Dunbar's sick way of celebrating halloween
WEB> lol...
