64. Dunbar's 'weekly summary' (2/5)

Partnerships are hard.

And I don't mean the romantical union between two people (though that in itself is a hardship that many people have to endure. Like sand in socks or eating yellow cake).

I mean doing tax for business partnerships. Ack! If it wasn't for this need to "graduate", I'd be running for the hills right now.

So this week was a balance of trying to be amusing and trying NOT to sound dumb. The dumbness overcame and I was stuck with the professor trying to explain to me the BASICS of selling assets and receiving gains. This is stuff learned back in grade school! Needless to say, I spent a good time banging my head against the table, and banging my head against the wall, and against the laptop...

Headache is sure to come. I'd need to kill it with beer.

As for the weekly summary, it just popped up about an hour ago and disappointment was close. I was going through the list thinking I wasn't going to be on this week and then there goes my 101 list!! And then... right at the end-

And the best belly laugh of the week:

A student had the following away message:

***In the corner for giving a bad answer…***

DUNBAR (9:53:34 PM): You can come out of the corner now. All is forgiven.
SHR (9:54:14 PM): phew! I was getting hungry
SHR(9:54:26 PM): and I missed work
SHR(9:54:33 PM): ............. yeah..
SHR(9:56:20 PM): and you can explain to my boss why I had to stay in the corner all day cause my professor forgot about me!
DUNBAR (9:56:50 PM): can you hear me laughing?
SHR(9:57:23 PM): wait... one sec....
SHR(9:57:29 PM): yes! I think I can!
DUNBAR: sounds scary
SHR(9:57:48 PM): lol

She was saving the best for last!

Yes! I still got it!
