I have a story in mind for NaNoWriMo. Unfortunately, when people ask and I try to explain it, I don't really feel any excitement in what I'm describing.
So... this weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), I decided I will temporarily scrap my story idea and look around for one that I can really sink my teeth into- one I can bounce up and down and say, "I can't wait to start this".
If I can't find that inspiration, my goal is to at least be able to find a direction to go with the one I have right now.
This is a warning. If I happen to see you this weekend and I have a sudden need to write down what you just said during a conversation about pickles:
It's not you who is the crazy one.
It's me.
